When the Ark of the Covenant was brought into the temple in 2 Chronicles Chapter 5, a worship service like no other took place.

The people were singing at the top of their lungs and all the musicians were jammin' on their instruments in praise to God to such a degree that "...the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God."

We put a great emphasis on musical worship in our services here at Calvary Chandler. Because we believe that music reaches into the heart and soul of people better than anything except the Bible, and therefore it is a large part of our service. 

There is truly no higher musical calling than to lead people to the feet ofJesus in worship and praise, and we like our musicians to be able to play skillfully as encouraged in Psalm 33:3, for the purpose of honoring and adoring Christ who has been so gracious to us.
